greetings and salutations to my three followers!

i hope the day finds you well and i hope you arent terribly grief stricken by my total lack of posts. thing is as i get older i care less and less about the internet and all its various joys and wonders. my dad updates his facebook more than i do. anyway in the back of my head i considered “taking things slow” and eeeeasing into the internet again. how? by just having a blog with only pictures and captions. the pictures would be of my favorite things for that given week.

as i havent yet developed the patience (see: talent) for adding pics n posts via smartphone, how about i just worderize the list of favorite things?

2 …well you know what? as it is only tuesday i dont really have much else. i could provide you with a brief list of things i do not enjoy, however.

1 MATH. more specifically? graphing functions and inequalities and negative b over two a equals something. i realized i dont like math because there is always a wrong answer. same goes for you too, science. with my major (english lit with a concentration in media studies) i can write a paper about how the images of birds in the movie Psycho tell their own story of Norman’s relationship to his mother. boom. a plus.

Girl, what he just say?? [cut&paste from my blogspot]

I was gonna write a post about 24.

anyway…actually I don’t remember what that post was going to be about. I think I was going to touch on how I think I could be President because of that show. OH. And also now I’m all concerned that their presidents (teh Palmerz and teh Loganz) were Republicans and that really grinds my gears. The only reason I’m thinking about this is because there’s a character on the show who’s a muslim woman and one of the other characters remarked that “she [couldn’t] be a terrorist! She’s a registered Republican for crying out loud!” Wait…wait WHAT? When I find out someone is Republican a little part of my soul escapes out of my rectum in the form of a fart and then that fart kills a baby. I don’t really appreciate the ideals behind conservatism is what I mean.

And then I thought about how 24 is aired on Fox and Fox (as a news program) is notoriously right-wing. And I was like “FUCK”. NO WONDER EVERYONE ON THAT SHOW LOVES AMERICA. Seriously. I’ve seen every episode and now I’m in the middle of Season Six (the last, but not final, season). At least 10 American-born criminals on 24 have defended their crimes with either “I did it for my country!” or “I did this because I LOVE AMERICA!!!” These lines sometimes occur with spittle flying out of their mouths and they’re all sweaty and passionate and about to be dead or incarcerated anyway. But then a little part of me was sad about this. Does that mean Jack Bauer, hero and modern-day Jesus, is…is a REPUBLICAN? Is THAT why he’s so committed to his cause? I’d like to think not. I’d like to think that he is just a fucking good ass guy who does good things. Not because he is liberal or conservative or dates ugly women on the show. But because he is a solid dude.

I really don’t know why he’s not president. That should be his slogan:

Vote for Bauer.
He’s a solid dude.
